The experience
A sociable half day in the Stellenbosch winelands, ideal if you would rather not give up a whole day. Your driver-guide collects you from your Cape Town hotel in an air-conditioned minivan and gives you a short orientation of Stellenbosch on arrival, including a stroll along historic Dorp Street.
The heart of the tour is two wine estates, where tastings come with three pairings: cheese, biltong and chocolate. There is also a cellar visit and some free time in town. Children are welcome, with a non-alcoholic pairing option for them, and the tour is wheelchair accessible.
Choose a morning departure (back at about 13:30) or an afternoon one (back at about 18:30). Lunch is not included, but it can be arranged at a vineyard on the afternoon tour. A diamond-workshop visit in Cape Town can be added if you pre-book it.
